For anyone that comes to my blog, you may notice that I like reading about zombies! Surprisingly I also enjoy Young Adult. So this Hop was a no brainer for me (ahahah pun intended!).
I knew I was going to give away Warm Bodies to celebrate the release of this in theaters! If you haven’t read it yet and you’re like me and enjoy books about zombies, PLEASE do yourself a favor and read this! It’s fantastic and a nice twist on zombies. See below for the review and giveaway!

My thoughts:
Oh my goodness! How do you review a book that is this good? It’s quirky, fun, different! AND it’s zombies! You know I’m giving this a five right? I mean, I have to! I just HAVE to!
Ok… let me try not to go all fan girl. But I’m warning you, it is going to be difficult.
First, zombies… thinking. Epic! And R’s thoughts are crazy. I mean they are just like mine, expect sadly he no longer has the ability to actually express those thoughts. And the thing that is bothering him the most? The fact that he can not remember his name. He is obsessed with finding out other people’s names so he can hold onto that tiny bit of humanity that he’s lost.
I don’t want to give spoilers but the idea of him getting close to a human seems ridiculous right? But it’s the way it happens that makes it so perfect. It’s sorta hilarious except that he’s eating someone’s brain. I mean it’s not my brain, so I can laugh right? The plot is phenomenal and what is started in this story is something I want to read more about. Fortunately, there is a part two!
There are so many tender and funny moments in this. It’s just awesome. So awesome! I can not wait for the movie!

I wanted to read this book this past summer and it’s been in my Amazon shopping cart ever since but I just never got around to getting it. The movie looks so good and I would love to be able to read the book first. =]

I am planning to see the movie & have been wanting to read the book. I am just not sure if i would wanna read the book before then go see the movie or do what i normally do watch the movie then fill in all the gaps with the book.
Just from the trailers the movie does look different. Like R’s dress is completely different but how he describes his dress and himself sounds the same. But yeah, I try to read prior to. Most of the time anyway. Sometimes I don’t get the chance. Sadly!! It’ll be great either way!
Ya know, I haven’t decided if I’m gonna see it or not yet. The first time I saw the trailer I thought ‘meh’ but the second time it looked really funny. I’ll definitely go if someone else asks me, not sure if I’d ask someone, though.

I’m not actually a big move person. I’d have to read the book first and then maybe I’ll watch it once it’s on a home service. (Going to the movies is just too expensive.)

I cannot wait to see warm bodies. Ever since the vampire craze I’ve joked with my friends about how a vampire romance is a ridiculous as a zombie one because technically their both undead. Now that there’s actually a zombie romance floating around I guess I’ll actually have to start reading some vampire romances.

I normally agree. I watched Les Mis before I read that one though. The movie was sooo good in theaters that I’m glad I didn’t put it off. I don’t know when I’m going to get through that one!

Um YES! I had seen the book around and hadn’t paid much attention to it but when I watched the trailer I knew I had to read it! I laughed a lot just with the trailer, I cannot wait to see the whole movie and get my hands on the book :D!

I have read the book only after seeing the movie and though I mostly end up saying that the book was better, this time I think that the movie did a better job at bringing this idea to life. Though it is a great book and thanks to it was to movie made. I’ve heard there is a prequel, have you read it?
