I let out a frustrated groan. “I don’t wanna hurt you, Jeremy. Despite not wanting to be with you romantically, I still like you. I still want to be friends.”

He then abruptly leaned into me, crushing his lips to mine. I barely had time to mentally process what was going on before his tongue was sliding into my mouth, and just like with Khol, I found myself kissing him back.
