“Know Me Better”

Each week I will pick 5 questions off of my author interview lists to answers.

I invite you to share your answers to these questions as well.  You can share them as a comment on this post or share them on your own blog and link up to this post.

This Week’s Questions:

Is there anything you would like to say to or ask your favorite author?
Are you a dreamer or a realist?
Theater or Rental?
Share a family tradition.
Favorite late night snack?

Is there anything you would like to say to or ask your favorite author?

Wow… First I would have to figure out who my favorite author is!! I do tend to go back to Terry Pratchett’s writing over and over though. Especially when I’m in the mood for something fun. Maybe a question for him would be, How do you keep on the line of satire and serious? It’s brilliant!

To all my other favorite authors, I agree with what Kathy said from I am a Reader — PLEASE keep writing!!!
Are you a dreamer or a realist?

A little of both. I love to dream but I also enjoy being logical. Enigmatic much? Maybe! I just love the juxtaposition of being able to bring science into the dreaming world. It’s fabulous!
Theater or Rental?

When I can, Theater!!! But honestly sitting at home with the hubster, eating popcorn (sharing with my four pups of course) can’t be beat!
Share a family tradition.

We have four women (now five!) in our family. We started trading ornaments at Christmas. We also give chocolate. Doesnt’ sound like much? The ornaments make it to where no one has to spend tons of money on gifts that will be forgotten in two minutes and the chocolate is to remember my dear, loving, wonderful grandfather. He had a sweet tooth and so do we thanks to him! He only shared his M&M’s when we coerced him!
Favorite late night snack?

Popcorn with butter, salt and maple syrup!! I know it sounds weird but it’s an easy way to get the sweet and salty without having to make popcorn balls!

  1. Enjoyed your family tradition answer. We remember my aunt with See’s Candies.

    1. Thank you! Talk about yummy!! But I’m biased for all things sweet 😀

  2. My family also give ornaments. Since my first cousins were born, my mother started giving all of the nieces and nephews a Christmas ornament every year. Even though she stops when they turn 18, my brother, husband, and I still get them 🙂 And it is something that I insisted we keep when my niece was born.

Ha-ha, the popcorn sounds interesting! I’m not sure if I could stomach it, but you’re right about the sweet and salty!

This is a fun meme! It’s also a wonderful way to get to know our fellow book bloggers. I’ll have to try next week 🙂
