My favorite would have to be IT by Stephen King; I read it almost 10 years ago and it still gives me the creeps when I think about it! Thank you for the giveaway & Happy Halloween! 🙂
You know, I really need to put that on my TBR. I used to read so much Stephen King but I don’t think I ever read that one. I read out loud to my sis so I’ll have to ask her if she’s scared of clowns. LOL

Thank you for a great giveaway! I’ve always really liked Halloween 🙂 I don’t know that I really have a favorite scary story, but it’s tradition in our house to watch the original Halloween movie! My husband is a HUGE fan of horror. 🙂

saw freaks me out. I am not sure why? it used to not do it but then it just got to me more gory… I’ve never been a big fan of really creepy movies. I find they tend to give me nightmares now days… I do watch a good one every now and then. I haven’t really read any scary books. I did just read a book that kind of shook me up but it had nothing to do with Halloween. it was more to do with a trafficking ring. I do love dressing my kids up for Halloween and helping them eat their candy though. lol my oldest has caught on and will eat the good things first. lol

My favorite mystery is Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. Recently I read Anna Dressed in Blood and loved that as well. I’m currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone and I think it will be a good fit for Halloween.
I really love the classic pieces like H.P. Lovecraft and also enjoy Stephen King’s horror stories. Most modern book I’ve read that’s a great spooky tale is The Monstrumologist 🙂
