So!!! This is only my second time reading with Dewey’s 24 hour Read a Thon. I must admit, last time I only made it right past midnight.
But this time it’s going to be even better and I have to stay up until AT LEAST 2 am because I’m doing a giveaway! YAY! That’s motivation to stay up right?
Lucky Hour 17!!
Please join me at 11 pm for a little challenge and a giveaway! I am super excited about this!
I’m picking the books that I need to read in October with the least amount of pages. Of course this list is always subject to change due to my mood, sitting arrangement, food intake, pups or cat sitting on my lap, etc… 😉

I’m a bit of a life cheerleader and my entire family says I’m a flower child that was born in the wrong era. Even though I’m a flower child I LOVE horror!! Can not get enough!
- If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? Second read a thon but this time I get to do a giveaway! Hour 17. Last time I didn’t stay up too late. I’m planning on the full 24!

- Challenge: The Literacy Challenge! I’ve always loved reading with kids. I read to my sister when we were both younger, read to my daughter while she was growing up and now my niece is 4! The perfect age for reading. Her mother, my fabulous sister, isn’t much of a reader though so I find it my DUTY to make sure Emma is well read! I have sent her read a long books that I can read out loud, Dr. Seuss (of course) but my favorite tradition is sending her Halloween books. This year I sent Bunnicula! Maybe a little old for a four year old but I also sent a Charlie Brown just in case. 😀
