Ugly In A Box

Four strong corners

A perameter,

Not to be breached

A society,

Scared of what’s different,

They hide what they don’t want to see.

But rebellion pops up,

In the sun, they seem strange

They crawl from their prison

A jail,

A box of shame.

An ugly,

That was locked away

The pretty had hoped

Forever,

But they came to stay.
